I received notice of a new publication.  This is the "Preppy Backpack" published in Crafts 'n Things magazine, February 2008.

This project was fun because I used some special single crochet stitches that formed what looked a lot like something woven.  And, it's got a crochet button too!

I was recently asked in comments why I sometimes don't know about publications unless a kind visitor lets me know.  If I sell a design to a publisher, I will usually know where the design will be published.  Not always, but usually.  However, if I sell a design to a yarn manufacturing company, I don't sell it for a particular publication and never know of the publication unless I happen to see it in a magazine or someone lets me know.
