Calgon, Take Me Away!

Sooo, in an effort to knock myself out of a serious blue time, as you know, I started working on a top for me.  All mine!

I'm calling it the "Calgon, Take Me Away" top.

I used stash yarn and I didn't exactly have the colors I would have liked the most.  But, I am still quite happy with it.

Details:

  • Crochet hook sizes:  F, G and H
  • Yarn:  Royale Silkessence Microfiber, about 9 or 10 balls

In showing you this photo, I felt like it looked much better on a body than lying there on its own.  So, Brianna took a photo.  As I asked her, she photographed it without a head.  Honestly people, it's hard enough to show you a photo so that you can see that I gained a lot of weight with the pregnancy and never took it off.  LOL  There's not really much of a chance of your getting a head shot without makeup! hahahahaha

Congratulations Kim, both on beating the blues and on doing it in style! What a lovely, well-executed design. I love the modified v-neck concept, very effective and flattering. And the trim on the bottom hem is really pretty.
