The Spiderweb Skirt!

Yes, it is now finished and modeled on my lovely daughter, although you can't tell she's my lovely daughter and could actually be ANY teenager since she insisted that I "cut off her head."

She hasn't removed the skirt since the pictures.  And, like anyone who has worn this skirt, she does the twirly, twirly, twirly a LOT.

She asked that I add the white ruffle at the bottom to match the white tank top I had made for her here.

Now, the particulars for anyone who missed them.  This is the Spiderweb Skirt, designed by Josi Hannon Madera.  The pattern calls for worsted weight, but I used Lustersheen.  Although this called for some major changes, the pattern Josi has written is very easy and very easy to adjust.

So, there you have it!   Moving on to my next project!

ETA:  The pattern for the Spiderweb Skirt is now being offered at Craft Magazine.  Josi is offering it as a free download and you can get the pattern by clicking HERE.

Kim,

Cutting the model's head off is the new trend in fashion photography (really!). Tell her she's right in vogue. ;)

I love this pattern but for some reason the site isn't doing orders anymore. I really would like the pattern. If anyone knows where else I can find it, please let me know. You did an awesome job and it looks great.
